Work Exchange

Want to get involved with the National Conference for Media Reform? Volunteer for Free Press before or during the event!

A limited number of work-exchange positions is available for people interested in volunteering their time in exchange for waivers of the conference-registration fee.

Free Press relies on volunteers to help make the conference a memorable experience for attendees, presenters and exhibitors. Volunteers help with on-site activities like event setup, registration, room monitoring and more.

This year, we’re also inviting a limited number of volunteers from the Denver area to help spread the word about the conference. We’re looking for people to assist at film screenings and talks, exhibit conference information at local events, hand out flyers and more.

In exchange for their time, volunteers attend the three-day conference for free.

Free Press will review applications as they are received and will accept eligible applicants into the work-exchange program on a first-come, first-served basis. We will accept approximately 10 volunteers to help in advance of the conference and approximately 60 volunteers to work on site.

To apply for our work-exchange program, please complete our application here.
