Grammy Winner and Former Moldy Peaches Frontwoman

Kimya Dawson is a Grammy-winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter best known for her work on the Juno soundtrack and with her former band, the Moldy Peaches. She has been featured in AOL, Entertainment Weekly, the New York Times, NME.com, Q Magazine, Rolling Stone and Spin.

Kimya has released six solo albums, including a children’s album, Alphabutt.  She self-released her latest solo album, Thunder Thighs, in 2011 on her imprint Great Crap Factory. The album features guest performances from Aesop Rock, members of the Strokes, the Mountain Goats, the Forever Young Senior Citizen Rock and Roll Choir, Kimya’s five-year-old daughter Panda and many more.
