Lisandra R. Carmichael

Doctoral Student at Florida State University

Lisandra R. Carmichael is a doctoral student at Florida State University’s College of Communication and Information. She is a teaching assistant and past research assistant at the Information Use, Management and Policy Institute. Her research interests include succession planning in academic libraries, broadband adoption and deployment in rural communities and Hispanic college students’ information-seeking behaviors.

Lisandra holds an M.S. in library sciences and information technology from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Prior to attending Florida State University, she was the associate dean of university libraries at the University of West Florida.
