Sarika Bansal is the director of partnerships at the Solutions Journalism Network, which supports rigorous and compelling journalism about responses to social problems. She is also an independent journalist who specializes in social innovation and global health. Her writing and photographs have appeared in the Atlantic, Fast Company, Forbes, the Guardian, theĀ New York Times and other publications.

Sarika previously worked in management consulting with McKinsey & Company and in microfinance business development in India. She holds an undergraduate degree in disease and public policy from Harvard College and a master's in public administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She is a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community.
