Hari Kondabolu

Comedian

Hari Kondabolu is a Brooklyn-based comic who Time Out New York called “smart, analytical and rising.” Hari’s half-hour Comedy Central Presents special debuted on the network in February 2011. He has performed on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Oliver’s New York Standup Show, Live at Gotham and the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. He is also a writer for FX’s Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, where he appears as a correspondent.

Hari has established himself in the United Kingdom with appearances on BBC 3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Live at the Electric and Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats. He also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011.

When in New York City, he and his brother Ashok (Dapwell of the now-defunct Das Racist) co-host the live, mostly improvised talk show The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Project and their podcast The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Podcast.

Hari was born and raised in Queens and graduated from Bowdoin College with a B.A. in comparative politics in 2004. He earned a master’s degree in human rights from the London School of Economics in 2008.
