Blogger and Spark a Movement Activist

YingYing Shang is a high school senior and an activist with SPARK a Movement. She participated in the successful SPARK-team campaign to get Seventeen to feature one unaltered photo spread in each issue. She has spoken on Nickelodeon’s Nick News and is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post. Her articles on feminism, bullying prevention and teen romance have been headlined in Teen. YingYing is one of 16 teen advisers involved in the United Nations Girl Up campaign.

Her younger sister has Charcot-Marie-Tooth, a form of muscular dystrophy, and always inspires YingYing to make the world a better place for girls.
